First we  correct homework.

Today we are going to review REPORTED SPEECH in different tenses.

We have a look at the story and find examples there.

Then we have a look at the sentences in Activity 1 CB page 122 and compare them to the ones we've found in the story.

Then we have a look at the table in activity 2 and we copy it in our notebooks using different colours, as in the book. We copy that table and  the sentence below it. We highlight the sentence:

When we use reported speech, the tense always moves one step back from the direct speech.

Next we answer the questions in number 1.

We do activity 3 orally first and then in the notebook.

Today we are going to revise the vocabulary related to different communities we belong: neighbourhood, family, school, etc.

In our notebook we create a mind map like the one we see in activity 1 CB page 118. In 5 minutes we try to write as many branches and examples we can think of.

Then we share our ideas.

Next, we listen and read the text Bella's blog. We explain what we understand by "generation gap".

This will be an important part of your grades for Unit 8.

Next, we have a look at the next Grammar Lesson. It's about  Past Passive Questions (CB page 110). 

First we remember the story and answer the questions in activity 1 with a pencil in the book.

We do activity 2 orally.

We copy the sentences in activity 3 with a black pen in the notebook. Then we rephrase them to make the passive using a blue pen.

We look at activity 4 and, in pairs, we ask and answer questions.
